Creation Route (創世女神篇)
The original story of Shin Megami Tensei V. Choose 'Don't hold the girl's hand' at the very start of the game. Contains 4 endings (Law / Chaos / Neutral / True).
Creation · Law Route
Accumulate 秩序 (Law) tendency throughout the game. At the throne of YHVH, choose 'I must protect the order of the gods' (必須守護神的秩序). The route is locked if you pick the opposite of your tendency (you'd need to pay the 66w macca penalty).
Creation · Neutral Route
Maintain balance throughout — roughly equal 秩序 and 混沌 points, OR keep 3 'Neither / no effect' choices. At the throne, the Neutral option appears when neither Law nor Chaos dominates. A new NPC (not Yoshido, not Tao) appears for the Neutral route.
Creation · Chaos Route
Accumulate 混沌 (Chaos) tendency. At the throne, choose 'I'll create to save Tokyo' (為了拯救東京我要創世) / 破壊王座 (Destroy the throne). Pairs with Tao Isonokami (多緒) ending.
Creation · True Ending (Hidden)
Most complex ending. (1) At the throne, choose 'Destroy the throne' (破壊王座). (2) Complete the Egyptian chain: 'Falcon's Head' + 'Investigate the Egypt Branch' + 'Battle for the Winged Sun' + 'Inheritance of Ra' — **CRITICAL: Do NOT kill Khonsu** in 'Investigate the Egypt Branch', his survival is required. (3) Complete 'Stop the Universe from Being Destroyed' — requires reaching 浅草 (Asakusa) pink leyline at Lv80+. (4) Have Tao Isonokami as the partner.
Vengeance Route (復讐女神篇)
The new story added in Vengeance. Choose 'Hold the girl's hand' at the start. Contains 2 endings (Law / Chaos).
Vengeance · Law Route
Accumulate 秩序 (Law) tendency throughout the Vengeance route. Final choice: side with Yoko and the new divine order. The Qadistu (the 4 Sacrifices) are defeated at the climax.
Vengeance · Chaos Route
Accumulate 混沌 (Chaos) tendency. Tiamat (ティアマト / 提亚马特) is resurrected at the climax, replacing YHVH. A new chaotic world is born.
New Game+ (創生モード)
Unlocked after clearing either route once. 創生 (Creation) mode scales enemies to Lv150 with extreme difficulty, and unlocks one final exclusive ending.
New Game+ · Rebirth (創生)
(1) Clear any of the 7 main endings. (2) Start New Game+ in 創生 (Creation) mode. (3) Reach the new NG+ exclusive boss (Lv150+ requirement). (4) Defeat the boss. The Rebirth ending unlocks automatically.
